Terms of Service

2. The service

FoundComp is affordable AI for solo founders and small businesses who manage everything alone. We provide specialised company memory, specialist skills, Visual or Classic answers, document-aware analysis, and approved automation, plus AI-generated recommendations and planning tools. These are suggestions and do not replace professional financial, legal, or tax advice. You remain responsible for all business decisions.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you provide. We process your data only to deliver the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. You may export or delete your data at any time.

5. Intellectual property

The FoundComp service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by FoundComp. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission. Content you create using the service belongs to you.

6. Payment and billing

Free accounts have no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase, in line with UK consumer rights.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoundComp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
